A couple of mates got banged up in the US a while ago in a typical OMG we’re American lets overreact to everything kinda way……

Basically 3 of them had flown out to Vegas for a week and on the first night went out in town. One of them went back to the hotel at midnight but the other two stayed out and at about 3am started having one of those drunken arguments about where to go next. Nothing remotely violent, just raised voices.

Anyway the police man comes up to them, brandishes a gun at them and hauls them off to a cell where they’re locked up for 3 days in a cell of 16 wife beaters & rapists and the like.

The only way my mate who’d not stayed out found out where they were was when he went to the local police station the following evening to report them missing!

My mate nearly got arrested in the US for having an argument with his girlfriend in their hotel room

My mates were arrested for "domestic battery" (apparently two people raising each others voices is classified as this in america) and hence were thrown in a cell with people who were involved in domestic violence including beating/attacking and even raping wifes/members of their own family. Thats how i know. Any more questions?

I was given six months suspended in Israel for a drug situation.

Only did four days though.
