Anyone else ever been awarded compo for anything? How much and what happened?
Girl at my work has just settled out of court with Hooters for £41k. She slipped on a wet floor whilst working there, landed on a glass which smashed and cut tendons in her arm.
A lot of money, but tbf she's gonna have a lifetime of pain in her arm, which does get really bad along with a phobia of glass :thdn:

She was glass collecting, floor behind the bar was wet (no signs up or owt), she slipped, dropped glasses and landed on them, cutting her arm open. Nasty scar tbf.
And she's been linked in the Singles thread I think. Can't be arsed to do it now.
