Don't talk to me about compensation. Had a case with the Financial Services Ombudsman that has taken the past nine months for them finally to look at, only for them to decide that no, we don't have a case. All of this despite overwhelming proof presented to them by myself and our solicitors that the bank in question dragged their heels on our move through sheer incompetence. Oh, and the fact that their delays cost me nearly 2k in incurred expenses, such as putting goods in storage, living in B&B, etc.
