Best anti-virus scanners
I had AVG but to be honest it seems a bit crap so I am currently looking at Kaspersky or McAfee with my lovely student discount :cool:
Recommendations good fellas :thup:

Kasperky and another one that I can't remember are the best ones, apparently. Not sure why AVG would be insufficient though tbh.

I'm a bit pernickty and sometimes AVG takes more than one complete scan to clean everything. Plus it kept crashing

Nod32. Use it on 80 work machines and 3 home PC's.
Neither have had a virus for over a year.
So that 83 recommendations from me.

I have 12 months of free McAfee security - came with the computer. It seems fine and less obtrusive than Norton.
Maybe some one else can give a better precis of it - I assume paying for it is a turn off for some....
