That's what always makes me laugh when the Brits say smoking costs more than it provides in taxes.

Cool, I am fat and always assumed it was my fault for eating to much and exercising to little, well aparantly not. Not I just need to find who is to blame, maybe the local takeaway who delivers in my area.

Haven't scientists reckoned they've found a gene which makes people more pre-disposed to being fat ?
Either way - so many reasons as to why folk are getting bigger (and fatter). Probably all starts in childhood, with kids not getting enough PE at school and also there are more distractions for them not to exercise now outside of school time. Stuff such as TV, computers, consoles, etc.

woohoo, I'm not obese - only just into the overweight category in fact.
Given that i've put on a stone in the last 6 months I'm quite haappy about that...still need to find time to exercise a bit more ofc.
