What is this 'huge negative impact'?

The crime claims are barely substantiated with references to driving offences and anti-social behavior.

The housing issue it mentions in the piece is more related to exploitation of migrants rather than problems with accomodation.

I'm not going down this route.
It is obviously not as clear cut as you, or I, make out.
But bold statements like yours are patently not right (but do contain an element of truth) if you look across the whole picture and not just pick out the facts that support one claim.
That is a Daily Heil tactic and I would've thought you were above that.

Er, a quarter of our prison population are immigrants or their kids. That's on top of the minor offences the report mentions.

How can you say there's no housing problem? How is it exploitation of migrants?

Actually, the whole picture is what I look at and the positive reports don't. You know, translations, health, legal, security and all hte other massive expenses that mean immigration is a net economical disaster.

I'm not anti-immigration btw, that'd be hypocritical to say the least. But if you want it to work, you got to be choosy.

I'm referencing what is stated in the news article.

Since I don't live anywhere near England, I can't actually comment on your immigration situation. I'm merely questioning the assertion that (from the perspective of the news article) immigration has a huge negative impact and therefore should have such a heading.

Neither can I comment on your judicial system, though I could write at length as to why ours has a disproportionate amount of minorities locked up - and why we presently have more people in prison than any other country on thep lanet.

They diddle the figures. When they talk about benefits of immigration, they include things like foreign students (some half a billion quid), and their definition of an immigrant ignores the economically inactive, asylum seekers and illegals while for instance if your dad's army serving in Germany and you're born there, you're included as an immigrant when you return to UK.
