Yesterday the Beeb ran the 6bn story. Which was the one the government put out. Now people have had time to read the report, I suspect.

Or maybe it makes "better" news to report the negatives.

Rabble rousing toss pots.

Where on earth do you get the idea that the BBC is anti-immigration?

I haven't, but the story could have been portrayed two ways and they've gone for negative slant rather than highlight the positives.
Seems a strange editorial choice.

Every few days, the BBC runs the story of fatties or immigrants high on the agenda.

And yesterday they gave the positive slant. What could be fairer?

The BBC recently ran a report about the slew of immigrants trying to cross the channel illegally. I would say that's more anti-immigration than pro-immigration.

A headline sets the tone for the piece and is often the only thing read.
Why not have a positive headline and still run the same impartial piece under it?

You want them to take a pro illegal immigration line?

Because immigration is having a huge negative impact? Why are you demanding they lie?
