I don't understand why have a bug forum if they don't respond to one of the few threads in there, and instead one of the fanboys leaps in, god forbid anyone commit the heinous crime of trying to improve the product.
Maybe the bug forum has been set up just as a way to weed out the dissenters, putting them all in one place ready to be banned.
If you ignore the thread complaining about there being no demo yet, this CM2008 thread has had as many views as every other topic on the first page of CMGQ.
TBH after playing all 3 demos, fm,cm and fifa manager all last around 30 minutes have to say CM wasnt as bad as I thought.
Would go the extent to say if it had a good DB probably be about as good as fm07.
The key to why they dont have such a good db or well-rounded game has been made clear in this thread. Unlike SI they dont have a well run forum and are unwilling to listen to errors or so it seems look into them no matter who the query is from.
Matt: you should have contacted who they said to contact even if it was just an email. Else they will think they have called your bluff so to speak.
Judging games by Demo's is a pretty poor approach though, especially as the Fifa manager (no matter how terrible already) doesnt even have its much talked about 3d match engine included in the demo.
