I don't buy this whole 'its too complicated for the old biddies thing'. Weren't these guys Spitfire pilots and the women had to work in factories and such? Surely they can handle PLUGGING A SCART CABLE IN. It's just laziness and selfishness about having to spend 20 notes an a freeview box which is worth a few lines down the bingo.

A little harsh on the bingo but an interesting point. However to some technology, especially new stuff to them is a little unsettling.
What I don't get is why they still sell non-digital TVs? Just so they can get more money when the customer has to then buy yet another tv when the switch over happens?
