Is anyone anti-smoking enough not to lend a mate some money for cigarettes?
A mate of mine recently borrowed a tenner to get some cigarettes and it struck me that someone might not if they are anti-smoking enough. Now I'm not a smoker myself, I've never even had one of things and find they stink up the place but if he wants to buy fags as long as he pays me back I'm not fussed. Would anyone turn someone down?

A mate of mine once asked me to lend him £10 for some drugs. It felt quite harsh at the time. I said no, then proceeded to go home. Don't talk to him nowadays.

Yeah I'd turn someone down for illegal substances, I suppose it's quite interesting that I'm conditioned by the law to discriminate between addictive habits.

Yeah, I suppose if you look at it that way, it is quite interesting. I know on more than one occasion, I've borrowed said mate some money for cigs. If he asked me now, I'd probably say no.
