Asking Football Clubs for trials?
I am just wondering if anyone has ever e-mailed or phoned and asked a football clubs for trials? As a youth myself i am wondering if it worked? and is it worth trying?

Have you any football experience? Obviously that is important. What sort of level clubs are you thinking of asking?

I sent a letter to Clydebank when they had no players offering my services. Didn't get anything back.
Wonder what happened to them... oh!

A friend of a friend of mine is having a trial with York in December...
No idea how they set it up, but he is not a bad footballer, playing regularly in the Norwegian second division at the age of 20.

I just play for a junior club which wins the leagues at miost age groups (mine included) I dont really know about the second question tbh, coca cola league?
Any thoughts?

Join a good team that always wins, gets to cup finals etc etc. Scouts sometimes go to these 'important' games.
How old are you btw?

players who go on to be professional players wold really stand out in your average youth league and scouts would soon hear about them
