the rule is somehting like you have to be under the age of 21 at the start of the qualifying campaign (or set date maybe 1st of september).
Its beacuase its a two year campaign so its unfair for a player of 20 to play in qualifiers and not be allowed to play in mian tournament.

thought it was something like that, thanks

It was embarassing to see Muamba on the pitch, possibly one of the worst performances I have ever seen!

Huddlestone was quality, he always looks languid and lazy but he could be absolutely top drawer.

Walcott was basically crapping himself every time he got the ball in the first half because he thought he was going to get smashed. Second half I assume somebody had a word as he looked much more up for it and looked a decent player.

Pearce better bring in either Noble of Cattermole to the starting line-up insted of Muamba for the next game.

Also Theo looks amazing at times for them and therefore i think Wenger should give him more chances. I know he's not ready for a game week-in week-out but the more he plays better he will get quicker imo.

seeing as 3/4 of the current squad have played for the U21's you twatbasket.

i've always thought the U21s are a bit pointless tbh

these days, if you're going to be any good, you're already knocking around the senior squad by the time you're 19 or 20. half the lads in the u21s are 21 and 22 because of the regs about registration dates - they must know they're never going to make it as senior internationals

much better to have a proper structured competitions for U17, U18 and U19 teams instead of the rather ad-hoc games they seem to play - then jump straight up to the senior team
