Thinking about splashing out on this headset. All the reviews I've read give it a good write up as both a gaming headset and an audiophile one. Anyone here own one?

i bought it for home cinema use.
then found out none of the connectors required for the headset to ensure 5.1 sound actually existed at all on my amp .
so just used it for a while as a gaming headset but...put it away and lost it eventually.
nicely packaged though.

Serp, if its the speedlink medusa I got that from play.com a couple of years ago. They had it on special offer. How much were you planning to pay for it?

I had some until someone stood on them.

Briliant headphones for gaming imo (never used them for anything else). Surround sound worked surprisingly well and the bass could nearly shake them off you ears.

And what Geoff said about the package, you can save the packaging for Valentines day.

Still got the connector block somewhere so may get the stand alone pair again at some point.
