Hi, I have 2 greyhounds at home and they're great animals, they malt a bit (good job i have a powerful hover) they are both retired and i got them from a kennel in Droylsden, Manchester. I have a male and a bitch, Called Noel and Emily, as you probably guessed i didn't name them, i have had Emily for about a year and Noel for about 10 months.
So basically i was wondering has anyone else got a greyhound or 2 or 3 etc also has anyone bet on my dogs their racing names were
I foster dogs and I had a quite old greyhound called Nero for about a month. A week after we'd found him a home he died from cancer . I think the gypsies had given him in-probably knew he had cancer and couldn't race him.
My uncle once had a greyhound, they are fantastic animals as pets. I don't really rate dogs that much (I generally find them irritating), but greyhounds seem to have a much better personality. Very amiable, gentle animals with great personalities. Pretty much the only breed of dog I'd really consider owning.
