My uncle owns a few including Large Mac, the dog that won one of the biggest races in Ireland last year.

I've heard they're one of the best dogs for pets as they basically lie around for 23 hours a day and only need a short burst of exercise. Only problem is I just don't like the look of them, I like my dogs with a hairy coat and something you can wrestle with without being afraid you'll break it's leg.

Used to play on a football pitch next to a greyhound track.
Haven't really liked them since then.

| You are not going to break its leg unless you do something really stupid ffs. The lack of coat is a problem though, get a Wolfhound or Afghan or something of the sort then.

You are right there, there is more chance of the dog breaking his leg, true with labs anyway.

What? Greyhounds are not Chihuahuas ffs, it takes a nasty accident to break a leg.

i like dogs but think greyhounds just look painfully thin and anorexic.

| I mean there is more chance of a dog breaking an owners leg.
