Just watched episode 4 of Prison Break, ffffb. Can't believe it's on a break for a few weeks though /o\ fcuking yanks. Last day of school for a week tomorrow, and FM should be here when I get back tomorrow, so my week off is sorted real tired though, not been to bed before 1.30 all this week, so lay-in Friday morning will do nicely.

But at the moment I'm listening to Yellowcard's most recent album "Paper Walls" is rather fffb. Don't know what to next other than that though.

Right guess this is the right place for this - I am really struggling to get to sleep at the moment, help!
Basically I struggle to sleep with virtually any noise - people talking a few rooms away, even relatively quietly, or the distant noise of tv - think it's just because (growing up on a farm) I have got used to sleeping with no background noise, and now struggle tbh - was fine my first year at university because my flatmates were all rejects, and never made any noise, but now I'm living with people I actually like...basically they're not being noisy at all, like I say even the smallest noise basically stops me sleeping.
So yeah - what should I do? Man up and eventually get used to it? Or get some kind of ear-thingies? Any reccomendations. But worried if I do that my alarm won't work - so yeah, and suggestions.
Cheers.
So yeah I'm not getting to sleep basically - might read some History or something to send me off to sleep!

I just watched "The Departed" not a bad movie, kinda overrated but the whole thing threw me when a movie about Irish-American mobsters. Keyword there Irish-American would use 'Scotland the brave' in it's score and not just once |

I'm up awake because you could cut the tension in our flat with a KNIFE, a knife i tell you.
Heres the situation - 4 housemates all guys, one has a gf whos been with us for 3 weeks. theyve been fighting and argueing and crying and getting back together and its getting on everyones ****in nerves. Then in one arguement late at night (like early morning) she runs out screaming "HELP! HELP!" naturally all of us crap our pants and run out to see whats going on, she runs off outside crying that she never wants to see the guy again.
Of course theyre back together, but the rest of us were angered that she screamed "help" for no reason. So we confronted them both and the guy went mental, "you shouldnt have a go at a guest" he cries. He thinks I shouldnt have shouted at them, I think shes a bint whos outstayed her welcome and is a ****ing douchebag for screaming help when she didnt actually need medical/police/fire assistance.
Rant over, continue standard night time discussions
