Britains biggest storm ITV1 now - Memories of the storm??
Wow cant believe this is 20 yrs ago! I was 5 and remember being woken by the storm and being scared so went and slept in between mum and dad. Remember waking up in the morning and throwing open the curtains and couldnt believe what i saw (we lived opposite a park) and there were HUGE trees down, we had lost some of our fence and some roof tiles.
Anyone suffer any worse? And what memories do you have of that night?

Was in a category 8 or 9 Typhoon when i lived in Hong Kong. Was out late at night at a hotel bar and had to stay there until morning. Not sure how they measure up to others but wasnt all that impressed really. Hong Kongers tended to panic whenever it was mildly windy anyway.
Dont fancy any of those American type hurricanes tbh
