Was only about 6 months old or somethin. We've got loads of photo's of our road, which was at the time, on a massive hill. Tonnes of water at the bottom - cars in the mix too!

Hmmmmm .... strange how this wasnt cleared up at the time. I am sure he said someone rang up about a hurricaine heading hitting the UK and he waffled about pressure and said not to worry.

Why would someone ring up BBC News about an impending hurricaine in the States ?

im pretty sure thats the reason he now gives. not sure if it is 100% true though i vaguely remember seeing the full forecast and it seeming that way

My earliest and most vague memory. I was only 2 but I remember my Nan looking after me that night as my Mum was giving birth to my brother.

Still can't explain how I remember that, my next clear memory isn't until I was 4 or something.
