The thing with USA 94 we could all follow the Irish instead, such as Ray Houghton's goal and Bonner's shambolic performance against the Dutch.
This one will feel slightly odd, but at least we won't have the band-wagon crew in the streets every bloody game!

going to be interesting to see if the self proclaimed "Greatest Football Fans" come out and watch a tournament they are not in. I'm going to hazard a guess they will not, and finally debunk the myth that England fans are the best football fans in the world. I'll still watch it as I'm a football fan, not a glory hunting England fan.
