I'm sure ESPN, who are actually televising it here, will be devastated. Personally, I might be more interested in it without England there.

More interest. I'll be able to focus solely on enjoying the football on show, not just hoping England win at any cost. I'll also be basking in Steve McClaren being unemployed.

factories that churn out St Georges' flags are going to be going out of business left right and centre :*(
it won't generate anywhere near as much interest from the country as a whole, but it won't affect my interest. like someone said in the England thread, will be refreshing to actually get some discussion at half-time in Poland vs Switzerland rather than yet another report from the England camp. if i've got a job by then i'd assume it'd be easier to get time off for games as well, seeing as the fairweather types won't be arsed.
