People have to look at the bigger picture. There are benefits from immigration. But you can't have your cake and eat it.

There needs to be integration in order for immigration to work. If this means spending to help people integrate, we have to accept that.
There are more social problems when there is no integration.

The thing is, it has to be done sensibly and with tact.

We do that here as well. B&B's are a halfway house between finding somewhere suitable. Difference being that the foreigner gets housed in the sh!ttest place possible that the council can't get anyone else to stay in while Johnny English gets to stay in a B&B until somehwere 'nice' is available.
