Yeah, kinda anyway!

Stuff like one of our employee's married a turkish man, they deivorced after 2 years he moved out and the council provided a flat within 2 days.
Then we have another employee who was in the same situation and she was put up in bed and breakfast for 6 months, wasnt ever offered a flat was told she was on a waiting list.
Nothing really sinister but only reason the lad got the flat was his race.

Other stuff in the local area how people who are of a different race seem to get slightly better treatment in regards to the council.

Wouldnt say she is being racist, just stating the obvious. It happens.

And the ‘foreigners get houses’ argument is typical Daily Mail bullsh!t. If your employee’s husband had been English and she kicked him out of her house he’d still be housed within days as anyone deemed homeless is pushed to the top of the list regardless of race.

How do i know? Because a few council employee's drink here and we were unofficially informed.

So when im sat in the pub with my mates (of varying races) and one of them come out with a joke about his own race thats racist then there is something wrong with it? hell no, he is telling us it because its funny and he knows it will make me laugh.
ITs just another way of banter thats all.

Now if it were just me and my white friends and we came out with it in a degrading way then yes i agree with you. Its wrong and i wouldnt stand for it. :thup:
