Andy Baz is infamous around these parts
Default The opening and closing of windows on public transport

Ok, so recently I've been getting the bus for the short trip to work and for the past week or so the same guy who gets on this bus at a stop later than me boards the bus and immediately opens a window.

It's bloody freezing for god's sake!

I, being the shy, pathetic person I am, does not stand up to this chap - and neither does anyone else on the bus despite their obvious teeth chattering - so we all sit there in sub-zero silence freezing our arses off.

Is there an unwritten law of the opening and shutting of windows on public transport? If there is, I would like to know.

Cheers.

(a cold smiley)

Just close it again.

Happened to me once when it was cold and i just closed it again, the guy looked round as if to say what the f**k you doing?

so i just said i was on here first so you will have to wait until im gone or get the next bus.

Worked too as he kept it closed.

Did I not say I was "shy, pathetic person"??

He'd beat me up imo.

Anyway, I don't understand why he has to open it (he can't be that hot? Can he?)

In my opinion, it's not exactly "closing down" that is the issue, more "positional awareness" of players closing down if that makes sense.
