1. Mid program breaks are more irritating, especially as there are far more people watching individual programs than those watching 2 or more consecutive shows.
2. No way are they 5 minutes long.
3. Adverts for other TV shows are far more entertaining than your average home insurance ********.
I love the BBC tbh. Their current affairs coverage is excellent - Thursday nights are probably my favourite TV nights with Question Time and This Week, whilst you also get Newsnight, Sunday AM, Panorama and the Politics Show. There are often some other good shows on like Michael Palin's New Europe. I'd pay the license fee for 5live alone tbh.
