I love the BBC. Makes me feel uncomfortable when people call for the licence fee to be scrapped, even though it's very unlikely to happen. The lack of adverts is absolutely wonderful.
This doesn't look like great news. Interesting times for the BBC as the Intenet's clearly going to take over in the next twenty years, where's that going to leave large parts of the corporation?

That's an outrage. The Beeb should be somewhere that gives platform to new talent, and leave the paying big bucks for old talent to the commercial channels.
Just honestly can't get my head around why the BBC feel they are in competition?
The problem I see with this situation is that the kind of programmes we see too much of at the moment - the ones that fall under reality TV and related shows are the cheapest to produce.
I must admit I had no idea that the likes of Norton and Ross were on such huge contracts... that's obscene.
