And where he says that Lampard was great against Germany. He's right about Lampard being back to his best international form since before the World Cup though, it's just a shame he's been awful since Euro 2004 so it's little consolation.

The key to international football, is the same as the key to international rugby. You need a bench, and you need players on that bench who can impact a game. Naming the best 10 players and fitting a formation around them means that, when it comes to the last 20 minutes, every change is a downgrade.

I think we can all pretty much agree that coverage of football, especially England matches is pretty damn poor.
