Not a lot Joe Cole can do when Gerrard cuts inside to send the defender towards Joe Cole and then gives him the ball.
Gerrard man of the match imo, really justifying his selection. </BLOCKQUOTE>
ahaha Gerrard was woeful, but then again so were everyone else.

Ashley Cole postively quivering in anticipation of the amount of "get well soon" texts his phone will soon vibrate to.

Job done today, which is all that can be asked for really. Missed the most of the 2nd half, due to falling asleep. I gather I didn't miss much !
Got to keep the same side if possible, for Wednesday. Fetching Lampard back in and altering the formation will be a mistake. The manager has done it once (Croatia) and I'm not sure he'll fancy getting his fingers burned again.
Was Lampard booed when he came on too ?

I don't get it, as much as you may dislike a player, being pleased that Asley Cole has what could be a very serious injury is a bit out of order don't you think
