Was checking out a Portuguese website and saw this article posted a few mins ago.
It's in Portuguese BTW.
Roughly translated FIFA wants to ban mobiles and cameras etc. in stadiums to stop people taking pics and video clips.
It's an attempt to defend TV companies rights...

Dunno if PMLF can comfirm but Brazil's last match was the first one targeted. Stopped people at the turnstiles and made them hand their stuff over.

It's not that unpractical, as it's done anyway in some stadiums for other purposes (like not letting people enter the stadium with stuff that could be used as weapons, alcohol, etc...).
