Just watching the Spanish football TV station here in Madrid (so likely biased against Barcelona)...they just had an article on Samuel Et'o and showed a graphic to underline their commentary that Samuel Et'o was likely to leave Barca':
They say:
1) Liverpool have offered 50MIL Euros + Alonso
2) Chelsea have offered 40MIL Euros + Robben
3) Man Utd have offered 40 MIL Euros flat...
5) Several Italian sides have offered less.
Rafa's getting desperate. As several other posters have pointed out, the early signing of Nani & Andersen may attract great players to Man Utd as a knock-on effect?
From what I could glean from Spanish TV, if Utd got someone like Et'o or Torres and perhaps a world-class defensive supplement like Micah Richards...they fear they will be like Barca' over the next couple of seasons. Barca' did the double...what price the treble again?
