Typed youtube in to google as I was going to look for some PES08 vids and saw a link to an article about this guy. Remember reading this thread about him, so instead of opening a new thread on it I'll add it here. Basically he's going to get his own show: Quote:

Chris Crocker, the pseudonym of the tear-stained 19-year-old who sobs his way through the melodramatic “leave Britney alone” video, has been approached by a reality television company 44 Blue Productions, according to Variety.
Crocker, who lives in Tennessee with his grandmother, recorded the video after Spears’s widely-derided performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas earlier this month.
In the two-minute film, the blond video blogger chokes back tears as mascara streams down his face, lambasting those who have criticised the singer.
“Her song is called 'Gimme More,’ ’cause all you people want is more, more, more, more, more ... you’re lucky she even performed for you bastards!” he shrieks.

Since the video became a hit, Crocker has appeared - via iChat - on talk shows with Jimmy Kimmel and Howard Stern, on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and inspired a host of parodies of his rant, including one by Seth Green, a comedian and actor who starred in the Austin Powers films.
“It’s kind of a whirlwind tour for me. I feel like I’m getting more exposure than Britney,” Crocker told online magazine Salon.
Before the Spears video, Crocker, who is openly gay and lives with his deeply religious grandparents, had built up a following with his videos on MySpace covering a variety of topics.
He has posted 66 video blogs on YouTube since the start of the year.
“Chris first got on our radar a year ago,” Rasha Drachkovitch, 44 Blue co-founder, told Variety.
“It’s going to pretty much be the 'Chris Crocker experience’,” she said of the new television show which will follow the YouTube star’s life as a gay man in a small Bible Belt town.
“We consider him a rebel character that people will find interesting. He’s going to be a TV star.”
In the Salon interview, Crocker asked that his real name and address be kept secret as he had received death threats from homophobes.
He also said he had been told Spears had seen his video but not what she thought about it.
Asked if he was trying to break into the entertainment business, Crocker replied: “Well, I didn’t do the Britney to cross over to mass media.
"My very first video got 8 million views. And I don’t usually do videos about celebrities - I think it’s tacky.
"I did this because I care about Britney and I’m a fan. But if anything, I thought it would turn off my audience because they’re not used to me talking about celebrities and pop culture.
"I talk about everything from AIDS to pubic hair. I don’t just talk about celebrities; it’s kind of sad that this is my introduction to mass media.”
