I passed the application test today and I am waiting for my starter pack and induction so i can get started answering questions.

I had some random questions in the test:

Win played come go diamonds are forever? (which is predictive for "Who played James Bond..."

Also this: How does maturity effect rate of respiration in plants? :eek:

So has anybody else worked as researcher, What can i expect from it. Is it possible to earn some half decent income from it.

Also does anyone know what tax/NI i would be due to pay. It a second job but self employed so i'm not really clear as to the rules in that case. I assume id pay the basic rate of tax, but i havent a clue with NI.

When you work for them you also have access to their database of answers too...

Yes you do. They reckon you can earn £7.90 an hour or more based on the average speed to answer a question.

Which isnt bad for sitting around searching Google...

Find out useless facts and send them to folk and get paid for it. And learn more useless facts to annoy friends and family with than i have already.

Then armed with my huge knowledge i shall take over daytime TV quizzes etc
