It's not really collecting, but I've quite a lot of flags and football shirts. When I go somewhere new I like to buy a flag from that area. Got them all pinned up in my room, looks quite cool I reckon. Morocco, Argentina, Brazil, Catalunya, Uruguay, Coventry City FC, South Africa, Luxembourg and Orlando Pirates FC up at the moment.

I think I'm getting slightly too old to wear football shirts now. I'm going to gradually phase out wearing them. Ones I've got that I regularly wear: Romania, Defensor Sporting (some Uruguyan team, it's purple), Morocco, Espanyol, Kaiser Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, Coventry, Cowdenbeath, Egypt and Kenya.

Mine's pretty much knackered. Everyone in audible range protested everytime I played it anyway, so that's probably not a bad thing.

I collect glasses from various places around the world, bit tacky but it's nice to have something as a memory.

I may never live this down.

The new Doctor Who action figures . Got about 45 at last count.

Vinyl, like a lot of people apparently.

And the Daily Mirror for some reason, I never throw them away so they just pile up and up. That's more laziness than collecting though.

I tend to collect Top Trumps cards as well, especially those special edition box sets that tend to come out (like the Lord of the Rings one - even though the daft bastards screwed up the special limited edition cards ).

Christ.

Is that really "collecting" though?
Unless there's some common link to the CDs/DVDs etc you have, I think that's just general purpose materialism. I have the best part of a 1,000 on DVDs alone, but wouldn't say I collect them.
