But recently listening to the Jo Whiley show on Radio 1 I heard this song and eventhough I hate anything thats ever been sang by Elton John I thought this was one really fitted how I felt about someone.
I'm not big on soppy songs but this one is currently being overplayed on the iPod... The Streets - Your Song
Its on the Radio 1 Established 1967 album, theres a few goodens on there, worth a listen.

There certainly are some good 'uns on there. Particular faves:-
The Fratellis - All Along The Watchtower
The Feeling - You're So Vain
Foo Fighters - Band On The Run (Best song on the album
imo)
KT Tunstall - Let's Stick Together
Kasabian - Too Much Too Young
McFly - Town Called Malice (Sorry but it's not a bad version!)
James Morrison - Come Back And Stay
Gossip - Careless Whisper
The Pigeon Detectives - The Power Of Love
Editors - Lullaby
Hard-Fi - Toxic
In fact the first disc is much better than the second. Surprise they didn't ask Travis to do Hit Me Baby One More Time. And to be honest I thought The Streets version of your song was pretty poor as Mike Skinner quite clearly cannot sing.
