OK just an update for you internet nerds.

After last night session, I am not going to ask her out now, simply because I know she is going to say no. We talked alot last night about our relationship and I hinted a few times about me and her being gf/bf and what it would be like. She basically either didn't go into it much or brushed it off. So that to me says she doesnt want a relationship with me. She basically sees me as a very good friend. she knows the DIY thing has taken up all of my time in the last 2 weeks and she acknowledges the effort I put in. She said she will treat me a few times to make up for it, which is fair enough. I mean she cooks for me anyways when I am there so to me thats already payback. We talked alot last night probably 3/4 hours straight and within that long period I kinda fell out of 'love' and saw this relationship as more of a close bond between a girl and guy.

I realised that there is no way we can be together and no point in spoiling the friendship we have.

To conclude everything. I found the answer to where I stood in this relationship which is just a close friend she relies on in need of support and probably someone closer then most of her girl friends. Which I am happy about. I don't feel dissapointed or down about it because I expected her not to like me like that anyways. I think the amount of time we spend together and the phone calls and talks we do, made me fall for her. But after last night I realised my feelings for her are not that strong really mainly because the way we see life in general.

What I will definitly do is cut down the favours I do for her. That is something I will do from now on.

Fell out of love? Wouldn't bank on it. I've been in that situation before when a heart to heart seems to settle things and clear the air, but a day or two later the feelings are just as strong.

But that girl is my gf now, so I guess the moral of the story is that it might still work out. Or that I'm a jammy git. Not sure.

Your friendship is based on you loving her and her just seeing you as a friend. Can't see how that will work.

Might I recommend that you try and get laid somewhere else, or better still, get her to matchmake for you. Mention that seeing as you're such good friends and all, she should try and set you up with a friend or two?
