Posted this in the youtube thread but just posting it here again cause I would like to talk just a little bit about religion.

Religion is bullsh*t by George Carlin - hilarious video

Having been raised as a Christian in a Christian family (though we're not that staunch), I am getting slightly disillusioned with religion. And that youtube video, though hilarious, does raise quite a few valid points. Shan't raise too many controversial points about religion here in fear of sparking off anger from any Christian extremists, but I would love to know where everyone is from, what is the major religion there and what is everyone's religion? I am Asian so I would love to know more about other countries tbh, and especially the Christian scene in other Western countries.

PS. George Carlin is simply fffffb.

im from england. Dont know many religious people.

Those that i do know get a bit of abuse. Bible basher etc. though nothing too extreme.

That'll really question your belief.

I tried reading that. Got the forth chapter and thought 'you're basically saying everything I know anyway' so never bothered finishing it.

His egotistical writing style was also very annoying.

It gets a whole lot better towards the end.
I think his writing style is really good.
He's allowed to be egotistical as he is pretty much up there in regards to knowing his stuff.

Im from the south of England and whilst born Christian am an atheist.

Religion is on the decline in this country, Christianity wise anyway, around where I live theres a number of churches that are being closed and converted to homes.

nearly kicked out of my 6th form group as i got a bit heated when the tutor refused to accept Christened = Christian for a census


Major Religion: put a pin in a list, the UK is like a mini earth we have at least one of every nationality or demomination
