I am religious, well, kind of. Was born and raised as a Hindu in India. Although our family does not staunchly follow it.
This has had an impact on me as they never pressured me to pick up Hinduism, so to speak. Now, I believe in God, and a few random theories, like Karma, re-incarnation, be good and kind (amongst others).

So in essence, I do believe in God but not the 1000's of Hindu Gods, or the Christian, Islamic Gods and such. And then again God (imo) is an entity, maybe even a belief.

I do pray for God's help sometimes when I really need it.

It's amusing to note how many people are 'atheists' out of sheer laziness rather than engaging any mental faculties.

I prefer the egocentric atheists of the "there's exists nothing which can be more powerful than me" school.
