Default Imagine my horror when I realised I couldn't play the new FM
I'm asking for help.

My laptop's CD-rom drive is broken. I've got an external disc drive (used it for my old laptop a few years ago). I've connected it via the USB cable. But nothing's registering on my computer. Presumably you'd need to install a CD for the external CD-rom drive for it to work, but obviously I can't because my cd-rom drive's broken. Any way I can get around this? How do I make it register that there's an external hard drive connected by usb?

Update your windows drivers and use the CD drive's website to find any software you need for it.

How do I updated my windows drivers? I went into device manager and clicked update for the disc drive but it didn't find anything. I can't any software on the internet, it's called a 'combo 52x'

randomly started working after I picked it up :cool: installing fm now. ta for your help anyway guys.
