| this sounds like the same issue I had after I accidentally changed to the wrong display settings. have you tried the factory settings reset?

Have you definitely got the AV channels selected correctly on the TV? You sure this has happened on 3 different TVs??? Have you ever seen a pic from this PS3 on any TV?

ACou2000 - if the factory reset is the 5 second hold down, then yea, i have.
Roadways - its been working for the 6 months i've had it, it was working no less than a few hours ago. I went out for a few hours, come home, switch it on, and bam. Nothing.
And yea, although it sounds a little hard to believe, i tried it on 3 TV's (only 2 were HD)

HD cables screwed then? Does PS3 use scart? I know the quality won't be as good but would eliminate the HD cables as a problem.

Thought you would have done but wanted to check. Guess I'm out of useful ideas and without a PS3 will be of no more use. Trust you've googled this prob?
