As if most coppers can keep up with a 10 year old anyway.

It's still their fault that the man died, and they're old enough at 10 to know full well what they're doing by throwing stones at him.

Err, yes. Plenty of the video games nowadays involve throwing all manner of things about, some less forceful than a rock. And plus, films and TV shows that have killings in them, plenty of people have died from barrages or rocks.
The kids know more in this generation.

The kids do not know more these days, they're clueless, coddled, immature little tits.

10 is easily old enough imp. I'd say if the kid is too young to be held responsible then the parents should have to face the punishment.

| They may know less about climbing trees, playing jacks and playing kicky the can, but they certainly do know more about death, murder, rape, sex, violence, terrorism, and suffering.
I saw two kids who couldn't have been any older than 9 yesterday playing a terrorist style game, they had jumpers tied round their heads to be "turbans" and I heard one of them shout "surrender you (*)aki" (censored, tbh I think it's shocking and hate all forms of racist behavior)

They may not realise the full consequence of their actions, but they know (or should) right from wrong.

Er, that's called playing war. You think kids should be sent to re-education camps for that?
And I wasn't interested in trees, jacks, or cans. It was vandalism and throwing things at the local grumpy old gits - like these kids. Difference is when this grumpy old git went to scare them off, we'd have been scared off. We knew he'd give us a kicking and the police would be fine with that.
