won't happen this time. i think you're being kind in your assessment is saying we eased up. maybe we did, but i doubt it was tha main reason for the second half performance: we just couldn't get any ball. we were losing scrums against the feed, gave away a stack of penalties from scrums. said a lot that every time wales got a penalty they just put down a scrum - and the welsh pack hardly world beaters.

at least our line-out was semi decent (compared to usual). if it wasn't for our open play defence the welsh would have had a real chance of winning that.
