Didn't see the match, but I agree Corry is useless.

World Player of the Year iirc. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Just proves that the people who decide these things are utter morons tbh. Either that or from the old boys network and all that Jazz.

He is not a good player and i don't care what awards he has to suggest that he is. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I agree that he isn't international standard, but to label him rubbish overall is a bit harsh. He is immense for Leicester.

Martin Corry = worst England captain ever.

The guy's a reasonable utility player at club level. No more.

Rugby is all about the International game though. If a player cannot make the stepup in quality to play well enough to be shown as a great contributor - then they shouldnt be winning "world player of the year" awards.

Corry always looks good for Leicester - but he's a bit of a shrinking violet at times - just goes into his shell and is annonymous far too often - has been even more so since becoming Captain. It's like he doesnt like pressure.

yeah, never saw why Corry was made captain. I mean he is dependable, will play his heart out etc. But he just isn't that good a player.

And Carter I think it was more important today that England got their forwards dominating today. Although it was hardly against tough opposition. Whilst it is a good pack and decent back row its hardly the same standard we had four years ago.

I understand that theis, but it's the England way that i don't like. It's not how a lot of the clubs play so i dont understand why they keep with it.

It's all about the forwards utterly dominating and ensuring that they push foward and get the points that way, if they need the backs, they have them there to use. - The commentator even said during the game that the scrum half was effectively playing as a forward.

With the likes of Hipkiss playing for England - They could easily play a style of forward play thats used to dominate but also create chances for the backline to feed off.

As for it being important for the forwards to play well? I'd say playing well against a Wales forward line that was largely made up of players who Jenkins sees as being on the fringes of the squad, most of whom were unlikely to be included unless they were outstanding and with only one genuine ball winner in Charvis, then being excited would be a little premature.

Even Joe Worsley looked good today ffs. That should tell you how poor the players Wales had out there were.
