used to work for british gas & got paid on a thursday & those of us who had money left! used to meet in the pub on a friday for a serious session dont do it so much now im self imployed. anyone still participate in the works finished for the week friday p**s up?

I never understand this, my previous company always used to go out Friday nights and I was like, no, I work with you, I dont like you, so never went.

Its never been brought up in my new place. . . . . thankfully!

Usually do it once a week. Not until next payday though, can barely afford food due to my Paris trip tomorrow

I work so much better with them because they are my friends.

I do now at my current job - running off to the pub at 5pm and coming home trashed late on a friday night is becoming a bit of a routine. My work mates are pretty cool though.

i still do it occasionally & remember how much i enjoy it but being older now its harder to recover so saturday usually suffers & we cant have that can we?

Nobody said anything about friendship. Or liking anybody, tbh.
I get along fine with most of my co-workers, but I wouldn't go drinking with them, bar a select few. Even then, it wouldn't be straight after work on a Friday.
