We used to just play poker every fortnight as a social thing. Much better than drinking for the sake of it

just got in from it in fact. ended up going clubbing. ridiculous really going out every friday as loads of people have to work at weekends, but it happens anyway. I've got the whole weekend off, fb. got fm 2008 through the post as well. got a date in london tomorrow evening, which is obviously good in some respects, but a bit fs in others.

Wish they did it after my work, what a laugh. If you dont like your job, get a new one, if you dont like your work mates, move to a new employer. Your job takes up so much time if you dont enjoy it then make changes so you do. Only live once. Once someone retired, downed tools at 3pm on a thursday and into one of the houses, quite alot of beer on the go.

used to do it when I worked in central birmingham. Sam Wellers straight after work every friday. There isn't much of a pub culture where I work now. Actually there isn't much of a lunch culture full stop.
