Bit disappointing to see Windass leave, but then again in recent weeks he has been slagging off the fans and the players in the media, which really can't be good for team spirit. He's also a very difficult striker to play alongside, the only decent partnership I've seen him have was with Dele Adebola. Hopefully the money we get from this deal will allow us to keep Jermaine Johnson at the club, and possibly bring in a new striker. The worry is where the goals are going to come from, hopefully Eddie Johnson might get used properly now rather than being used as a target man, which doesn't suit him at all.

I though Hull fans would be annoyed by Windass signing, isn't he kind of past it for this level now

Nah, turned out attention to Neil Shipperly now.

Just a running joke really that Jewell only wanted to sign him so that he could get a lift into training in a morning.

Both live near each other and are drinking buddies iirc.

Big game tomorrow, suppose they all are when we're in our position. Potential to get one over on a certain Mr Taylor again. Deano shall make his debut - from the bench I'd have thought, then again, we are without Barmby. Livermore suspended too, not quite sure who'll replace him really. I'd love a point.

I have a bad feeling for fan safety tomorrow. The game was made non all-ticket just before we signed Deano, which seemed fair at the time. But the Windass signing has excited the fans so much I wouldn't be surprised to see twice the 2000 capacity of the away end turn up in that there London.

I'd have thought they'd all be saving themselves for the double bill of Deano returning and the Leeds game.
