Go onto Wikipedia and perhaps take a look at Owen's goalscoring record (goals/apps)?
Ignoring the 3 games he played in at the tail end of last season he's done very very well.

he could quite easily play 4 seasons and gets 60 goals, we then sell him for 10 million then it doesn't look that bad a deal. He hasn't really had a run in the side, its a bit hard to leave Keane and Berbatov out especially when Keano is on fire at the minute.

There was a very Marmite opinion when Spurs signed Bent, i.e. half thinking he'd be top scorer and half thinking he'd score about 3 goals.
At the moment, he doesn't look like £6.5m never mind £16.5m.
Although I do concede that he needs a proper run.

Cerny could be worse than Robinson for all I know, in the competitive games he has played he has had nothing to do at all.

I think an Allardyce team will always be very well organised, such an easy thing to say but I can either see us hammering you or you hammering us. I think it might be the latter that will happen considering we are away.
