Id prefer Keane to Owen any day. The amount of chance Keane creates for others and his overall link up play gives him the edge.

And nelly, Our defence is NOT better than NUFC's right now.

in terms of talent, I think we have a better group. Its hard I know to say this but I genuinely believe that the amount of goals we concede is mainly down to have a keeper who can't save anything at all.

Our defense is better. Never thought I'd type that;

Rozehnal has been solid every time he's played.
Cacapa has taken to the Premiership like a duck to water
Taylor is still learning but getting better
Beye looks good but in bad form
Enrique has class potential
Faye is solid
David Edgar is a great player for the future too.

Your lot don't compare. King is possibly better than most our defence bar Rozy, but has too many injury problems. Dawson is similar to Taylor in that he's good but incomplete. Chimbonda in poor form, Assou-Ekkotto hasn't really done much, Gardner is crap and Kaboul, I will admit does look good.

Tbh I'd say our defense is infact a lot better than yours.

Rozehnal looked solid every game? Looked awful against Man City.

Capaca like a duck to water. Just quoting Allardyce directly then (he does look good though)?

Taylor, Enrique and Edgar are potentially good, but how many players have we heard that from?

Beye is still unproven in our league and looks more like a centre half being played out wide.

Faye is solid? Not what I hear coming from Bolton fans.

You missed out Carr, Ramage and Babayaro btw.

these arguments are pointless because you have a better manager in terms of organisation it seems.

King is better than all of your defenders, thats agreed.

other than that i think the difference between defenders is minimal.

Kaboul looks a beast but is still very raw and young. Dawson has started poorly this year but was my player of the season last year. LYP is so underrated of how good a defender he really is. Chimbonda is still better than any RB you could put out there tbh. Plus Bale is a better player than Enrique at LB already and has more potential.

I thought you said Bale counted as a midfielder?

Well you’re both just uttering gibberish now.

‘Our unproven youngster is better than your unproven youngster.’
