Astute.
I would like to echo Ratinho's sentiments and lend my backing to Martin Jol. Remember how hard he is and that he could have most other managers in a fight as well.

Ok. A little harsh to pick him out when you have Dawson, Malbranque and Bent on the field as well, but nonetheless, he's been an embarrassment.
wasn't going to attempt to tbh. Worst game i've seen him play in a Spurs shirt.
Zokora and LYP the only highlights for me. Even Zokora would of only got a 6/10.
erm i think he made a mistake in when Bale getting injured not using Lennon as the sub. Absolutely no width at all, no creativity in the midfield after that, I was just praying we would get half time at 0-0.
Dawson looks less than half the player he was last season, Kaboul looks like he should be playing midfield and I think he might do alright there.

Spurs had a good 10 minute spell when they scored and it was the only piece of bad defending by us.
Cacapa was brilliant again and that's the first of Enrique i've seen and i'm pretty impressed.
Spurs have problems. Always thought each and every one of their players were overrated other than Berbatov and Keane, but Jol had them playing well. Now they just look ***** in all honesty....

C'mon lets face it, Newcastle is flying high at the moment and our club has been facing so much drama. It's ridiculous to even think Spurs will go there and win the game.
If we don't get out of relegation zone by Christmas I think we'll just scrape through it this season. Absolutely shambles this team. Having said that I'm going to watch the Getafe game pretending everything is hunky dory

It's because of the **** poor attempted at coming to win the game rather than the fact you'd expect them to do better

Feck me Jenas was so utterly woeful I almost started to feel sorry for him. Almost mind...
Not a great performance to be honest, we played as though we had a target man for a lot of the game, we defended well at the back - switched off for one second when Emre should have closed the cross down (he otherwise was tracking and closing down all night so to fully criticise him would be very harsh) and no-one really attacked the ball.
Butt was solid but Faye and Cacapa probably share my MOM. Tottenham were really really poor, the worst team I've seen so far this season and a million miles from the side that battered us (but still lost mind) at WHL last season.
The players aren't behind him so Jol should go. Just a shame their ****** chairman pulled the rug from under him - in a fair world he'd be the man to go.
Three points and \o/ from me!
