By the way I washed my iPod too and the reason I have a new one is by actually doing the insurance thingy. It cost me about £20 extra on top of the money I got but it worked.
Forgot to mention that.

| No i'd leave it a fair while yet. You could just leave it to air somewhere near an open window. Not like you have to worry about it getting nicked since it doesnt work anyway. Might even be able to claim on your contents insurance unless it's **** or you dont have any.

my ipod appears to have just decided to die on me, so i feel your pain.
although it might just be the cable, which'll only cost a quid to replace, so um, maybe not

Cant believe I am going to say this but....
IT BLOODY WORKS!!! Tried turning it on...nothing. Remembered the battery was nearly dead in the car yesterday at the golf course.
Plugged it in and out come Mark Ronson!!! How long it will last is another thing. Will keep you updated.
Washing at 30 degrees is saving the world!!
