Yup - just been reading.

Having seen MoTD, the tackle from Kuyt was a straight red for me - an awful lunge. Clattenburg had a nightmare and should face some sort of censure. He'll more than likely be booted down to the football league for a few weeks, before coming back to the Premiership. </BLOCKQUOTE>

That's the biggest load of ***** i've read on here in 7 years. Congrats.

Just thought...

Could any Everton fans tell us how many 'penalties' Mr Johnson has won you since he joined?

your media just unbelievable btw. if gerrard were a filthy foreigner he'd have been crucified for that dive. as it is, quite a few match reports have glossed over the incident almost entirely with things like "hibbert was sent off as a result of the liverpool penalty" and then not mentioned it again. i think the harshest crit i've seen of gerrard was that "he maybe went down a little too easily."

no mention at all yet of clattenburg clearly only going to book hibbert then changing his mind after a word from stevie g either.

awesome stuff.

Why - because it's true ? The tackle was awful and the referee also allowed himself to be influenced by a player (the sending off of Hibbett). The latter alone surely deserves some sort of reprimand ?

Pretty obvious Hibbert knocked Gerrards rigth leg into his left one. Try running at full pelt and have the same down, bet you fall over.

Fair enough Gerrard had a word but he only pointed out the rules. If it had been anywhere else on the pitch and was asking for a red then fair enough.

thing is hibbert was never preventing a goalscoring opportunity because stevie would certainly have missed.
