Move your account to them. They will move across all your direct debits.
Less charges, higher savings interest, lower overdraft interest, no commision charge for using card abroad. No hassle in the branches. Less queues than other banks. Staff who seem to know what they are talking about.
The best by far in my experience.

My GF had exactly the same problem when she moved over here. She eventually went with Lloyds after I went down with her to my local branch and vouched for her.

I like Lloyds personally, their internet banking is good and easy to use, plus plenty of branches nationwide.
